All I need is a beige box

Back when the computer was all you'd ever want
Even just to flaunt
Though the kids might taunt
And when the world wide web was just a madman's dream
That electron beam

How 'bout 1990
I would settle for that
Old is my devotion
See it on my mouse mat
I was too young to see

That digital ocean

Back when the computer was all you'd ever need
It planted a seed

Before online games, except for MUDs, because text was enough
